Sin Tung Ng (Steffi) (she/her) explores the complexities of the terms Asian and Immigrant through curation, photography and writing. Her practice also revolves around finding ways in art to create joyful spaces for cross-cultural community building and idea exchange.
Sin Tung/Steffi’s curatorial work has been featured at the Xpace Cultural Centre, Unit 270 and the Graduate Gallery. She has also worked and interned for various museums, galleries and artist-run organizations in Canada including Canadian Museum of History, The Power Plant Contemporary Art Gallery, Toronto Biennial of Art, Mayworks Festival of Working People and the Arts and Varley Gallery of Markham, and her writing can be seen in The Senses & Society, Intermission Magazine, Feels Magazine, among others.
Also a photographer, Sin Tung/Steffi’s work has been exhibited at DesignTO 2025 and Toronto Public Library, and was commissioned by the TD Bank as stock photographs.
Born and raised in Hong Kong, Sin Tung/Steffi is currently based in Tkaronto/Toronto. She recently completed her MFA Criticism and Curatorial Practice program at OCAD University; she obtained her BSc International Relations at London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in London, UK.
